Taking Performance Benchmark of T-log before and after move to new SAN disk

Hi All,

We are planning to move the Transaction log to new SAN Drive, currently all the System and user databases are on same drive. Now we are moving only 1 user database T-log to new SAN Drive.

We need to take the benchmark of the T-log performance Before move and after move.

Please let me know how we can take the Benchmark for the T-log performance and compare the same after moving.

What the performance counters or DMV's we can use to monitor the T-log performance.
