Compatibility error restoring database created in 10.50.1600?

I'm trying to restore a backup, and the error displayed is "The database was backed up on a server running version 10.50.1600. That version is incompatible with this server, which is running version 10.00.2531."

From what I understand, the message is saying that the .BAK was created in v.10.50.1600 (SQL Server 2008 R2) and I'm trying to restore it in v.10.00.2531 (SQL Server 2008 SP1).

The problem is that I went to SSMS->Help->About and it says that I have installed Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio 10.50.1600.1 (SQL Server 2008 R2) , so I'm not sure why I'm getting this error.

What can the problem be? Or am I misunderstading the error?

Thanks.

I've included all the information that I get when I go to SSMS->Help->About in my PC:
