Deleting log file

Hi All,

We need to do a DB deployment on Production server, but that will take a space of about 200 GB, we have T-log Log1 at D drive. but we do not have enough space. hence we are planning to add a new log file LOG2 to another disk on E: drive.

But due to some requirement after the deployment we need to delete the LOG2 created on E: Drive.

Please suggest me if this is advisable to delete the LOG file.
