Centralized Job Server In SQL Server?

I have a lot of new environments which largely share the same copy backups/restore backups/validate backups/mask data/etc. code.  If I make a change in 1 I have to go to every environment and do the same thing.  I'm looking at scripting something in PowerShell to try to modify the jobs on each server based on the variables I provide it but does anyone have any experience with this?  Are there any best practices or recommendations?  I haven't been able to find anything online. Thanks!
