One database out of several is slow on server - SQL Server 2008 r2

Hello,

We are using SQL Server 2008 r2.  We have a server with several dbs on it.  As of a couple of hours ago one of the dbs started running REALLY slow.  Prevents users from accessing data when they run VIEWS.  SELECTS from TABLES run ok.  All other dbs on the server run fine.  Any view/stored proc from another (normal-running) db which JOINS to the slow db will also run real slow.

Also, INSERTS work ok.  Just On SELECTs (from VIEWS not TABLES) goes REAL slow.

We did also run FREEPROCCACHE -- but did not help.

The Log file is not full.  We flushed it and it now is about 90% free space.

The 'Rows Data' (Spatial Data) enables autogrowth to by 1MB.  Unrestricted file growth.

Have checked SQL Server Agent Error Logs and nothing there.

Any thoughts helpful.

Thanks,

Dan
