Regarding the Batch file running the stored proc to backup the Databases

I have a SQL Server 2008 R2 Express edition.

I created a batch file at c:\SQLServer\Backups . This Batch file contains the Stored procedure which takes the Backup of all the Databases and places them on c:\SQLServer\Backups. This operation is running perfectly fine.

When I was trying to run the same batch file except for I was trying to place the Backup files on

C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10_50.EXPRESS_POD\MSSQL\Backup

The files are being created as the files with no extension and few with .BA and the file type is mentioned as "File". I tried to place them two levels down i.e. C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\ - it was working fine.

Can anyone help on this.
