I am periodically receiving the following error message in SQL Server 2012 Standard SP1: "No catalog entry found for partition ID 4683802261943549952 in database 2. The metadata is inconsistent. Run DBCC CHECKDB to check for a metadata corruption. Error: 608, Severity: 16, State: 1"
CHECKDB on tempdb shows no errors, so I assume this is probably related to temp tables in some way. The only reference I can find is to an old bug from SQL 2005 that was supposed to have been fixed. I have no idea what operation is producing this error. The instance only supports TFS 2012 and an associated SharePoint Foundation 2013 instance.
Any thoughts on how to proceed?
