CLR Stored Procedures Not Able To Return Tabular Resultsets From Remote Servers

I'm using a CLR stored procedure to return a resultset from a remote server. The problem is that the SQLContext.Pipe commands only work if the "context connection=true". How can I return a resultset from a connection that isnot defined as "context connection=true"?
