Can someone help me understand cluster?
we have two nodes for the cluster. each cluster we installed two sql instances, one is prod, one is qa.
Does it mean we have total 4 instances installed, or only two instances?
Does the databases located in both of the 4 instances?
I see all data files are on node1, on node2 there is no data file directory, does it mean on node 2 only have SQL service/instance, the databases are all on node1.
Any simple explanation will help me.
I need to apply Service pack, does it need to apply 4 of them?
