Protecting an RDBMS System from DBA-s

"At an e-commerce place I worked I complained to management: Look I have too much power as DBA. What if I go crazy delete all database files and bring down your business to nothing. I don't want to have that much power.

A database system must be protected even from DBAs.  I admit, it is not very easy.
