Got Error in SQL server error log and application event log -event ID 3041 , "Backup failed to complete the command BACKUP DATABASE <dbname>. check the backup application log for detailed messages" ... for the database <dbname> that never exists on SQL database server. We are using netvault litespeed to backup databases and that job shows successfull. But there is error in sql error logs and application event logs.The database was never exists on Server. and there is no other job running on the server at that time and no one accesed the server. Would like to know why this error got logged?Its sql server 2008 R2.
