I know this may seem strange or even newbish. But I can not for the life of me track down what is backing up our databases. It shows in teh SQL Server log they get backed up at 11:15pm, however the backup I configured is through jobs under SQL Server Agent and it backs up at midnight. Here is what I have looked at so far:
1. Maintenance Plans (none, they are all deleted)
2. Other jobs (went through everyone manually)
3. Checked system databases for jobs that are running but are not showing in the UI (couldn't find any).
4. Looked for Scheduled task that is running one. Nope.
5. Look for other software that might be doing it. None. We do have Acronis that backs up the server, but it would not backup the SQL databases like this.
6. I even went so far as to delete all Jobs under SQL Server Agent and recreate even though none of the times correspond to the backing up that is happening.
It does a full backup of the user databases, every night. Is there anything that someone can suggest that might help me track down what is doing it so I can get it to stop?
Thanks,
