I am designing tests for back end storage using Dell benchmark factory and MS SQL 2012. I can configure TPC-C and TPC-E benchmarks in such a way to get any range of read/write percentage to actually hit the storage based upon scale, system memory, etc.
What I want to know is what read/write ratio are you seeing on your real world OLTP applications at the SQL servers and on the back end storage.
