Memory exercise

Hi Everyone,

I am new to this forum and basically new bee to sql administration.

Here is what I am looking for.

Test Environment

•                   I have 4GB physical memory on my 32 -bit machine
•                   SQL Server 2008 32-bit sp2 installed.
•                   I have set the max server memory to 1 Gig.

I am looking for load scripts to bloat sql server buffer pool memory and monitor total server memory and target server memory.

Since i know i have set max server memory, I need a script which can bloat the MTL region so that I should see overall sql server is consuming more than 1Gig memory which is outside buffer pool and justify what is taking up the memory inside sql server.

I am looking for a practical scenario and monitor the usage of sql server from the time i started sql server.

I appreciate if one of you can help me on this regard.
