Performance report in SQLServer 2005

Hi,

I want to have a snapshot of performance of SQLServer 2005 and then have another snapshot at some other time and then want to compare both reports. Is there any mechanism of this type available in sqlserver 2005?

For example, I want to know number of logical/physical IOs. CPU usage, hotspot tables/indexes etc. during 12:00 to 1:00 PM today and then I apply do some performance tuning of database and again I generate a report of same type from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and then compare both reports and see if any improvements occurred or not.
