Hello:
I have question in regarding to "cdc.DB_cleanup" job. SQL Server 2008 is on latest service packs.
retention period is 21600 mins which is 14days. having retention for 14 days, i am still seeing data from NOV 2012 and my CDC dedicated secondary file is becoming huge now.
As this job is created when CDC is configured, so i think we have little control over it beside tweaking capture & cleanup job.
job is schedule to run every night which runs for 20-25 mins. As it is running then why it is not cleaning up old data from NOV 11th onwards.
Any help or pointer is greatly appreciated.
