Hi,
I have followed the steps to set up the SQL server 2008 database mail function. I have also created a job to run everyday to send out email. But, it works sometimes and most of the time it does not work (it means the configuration of email is correct?).
The following error message was received when email cant be sent out.
The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 6 (2013-01-21T13:48:29). Exception Message: Could not connect to mail server. (No such host is known). )
Firewall is already turn off, internet is up able to browse website. No antivirus is installed.
